Irrigation hydrant is designed for the delivery of irrigation water from the distribution system (steel, plastic, concrete pipelines), which is usually laid underground or pipelines with quick-release couplings to the irrigation machines (various types of pivots).
Hydrants are also used for arrangement of temporary pipelines for delivering and pumping of water.
Hydrants are usually operated by with the irrigation hydrant valves.
Design and working principle
Irrigation hydrant consists of the body 1, inside which there is a screw 2, sealing 4 and a cover 3, which is raising above the body 1, thus activating the delivery of water to the irrigation hydrant valve.
